This User Policy governs access to and use of the Imbewu Connect platform, owned and operated by Imbewu Yethu Foundation (NPO). The platform is designed to support learners through coordinated engagement between schools, alumni, governing bodies, supporters, and service providers.
By accessing or using Imbewu Connect, all users agree to comply with this policy.

Imbewu Connect reserves the right to verify user information and to restrict or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
4.1 Learners
Learners must provide accurate information and use the platform responsibly.
4.2 School Administrators
Responsible for verification, approvals, and institutional compliance.
4.3 Alumni Members
Must engage ethically and support learners responsibly.
4.4 SGB Members
Must uphold governance standards, confidentiality, and proper record-keeping.
4.5 Supporters and Donors
Must provide truthful information and act in a lawful and ethical manner.
4.6 Suppliers and Service Providers
Must deliver services professionally and in accordance with agreements.
Imbewu Connect complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Sensitive learner information is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Any unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse of such information is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary or legal action.

Imbewu Connect may monitor transactions and issue compliance documentation, including donation certificates where applicable.
All communication must be respectful, appropriate, and relevant.
Imbewu Connect reserves the right to monitor, log, and restrict communication where misuse is detected.
Imbewu Connect operates on a subscription-based model.
Users acknowledge that any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance, and continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
Imbewu Connect reserves the right to suspend accounts temporarily, terminate access, or permanently remove accounts. This may occur where:
School administrators may also initiate suspension or removal within their respective schools.

Any violation of platform rights may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, and legal action where applicable.
Access to data and functionality is determined by user role and approval status. Users may only access information relevant to their role.
Imbewu Connect may provide AI-assisted features, including:
These tools support users but do not replace human accountability.
Imbewu Connect acts as a facilitating platform.
This policy may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Imbewu Connect offers a 30-day free trial to qualifying schools. During the trial period, schools receive full access to the features of their selected plan.
Trial participants are encouraged to explore all platform features and provide feedback to help us improve the service.
Upon expiry of the free trial, schools must transition to an active paid subscription to continue using the Platform.
To ensure uninterrupted service, schools are encouraged to select and activate a subscription plan before the trial expiry date.
